This research focuses on employing the form of the book within educational institutions as flower planters، based on scientific principles of design and within an analytical framework aimed at achieving a successful design outcome. The study addresses a research problem arising from the loss of the functional-aesthetic dimension in many educational institutions, despite the importance of interior architecture as functional composition that serves human needs within the surrounding environment, enabling individuals to carry out their daily activities. This environment includes floors, walls, ceilings, and inner courtyards, which have increasingly lost their role as interior commemorative or symbolic elements. The role of interior designers is therefore emphasized in proposing innovative design solutions embodied in the concept of the book form, adopted in both vertical and horizontal orientations. This approach aligns with the descriptive analytical methodology employed to achieve the intended objectives of the research. The study is supported by a theoretical framework that examines several design variables, including functional and aesthetic aspects and design relationships, through analysis of relevant reference and previous research related to the core concept. In addition, design models developed by the researcher are presented, in which the book form is transformed into flower planters. These models clarify the general design concept and provide an analytical interpretation aimed at reaching a successful design that embodies contemporary and innovative ideas.
