Design creativity is one of the fundamental pillars in shaping architectural identity and distinguishing the architectural output. In light of the rapid digital transformation, Artificial Intelligence (AI) has emerged as an effective tool for supporting the design process and broadening the horizons of architectural thinking. This research explores the role of AI in enhancing design creativity among architecture students at Tripoli Alahlia University in Libya. It aims to evaluate AI's role in fostering design creativity and to identify students' perceptions regarding the contribution of AI tools to various aspects of the design process, through an analytical study of students' experiences and their interaction with AI tools in their academic projects. The research adopts a descriptive-analytical approach supported by quantitative and qualitative tools via a questionnaire directed at a sample of students. It highlights the technical and pedagogical challenges associated with integrating AI into architectural curricula and provides recommendations for cultivating an educational environment that stimulates creativity by effectively and harmoniously leveraging AI capabilities. The findings indicate that the majority of students (80.4%) utilize AI tools. Furthermore, 47.8% of the respondents consider cost to be one of the most prominent challenges, 42.4% use these tools primarily for report writing, and 46.7% recommend integrating AI into academic courses......................
