The study aimed to know the degree of awareness of faculty members in Libyan universities about the importance of cybersecurity in light of digital transformation, specifically at Al-Zawia University. Academic qualification, practical experience, while the second section included what is related to the degree of cybersecurity (24 paragraphs), and the third section included cybersecurity violations and risks, and included (6) paragraphs, and the questionnaire was applied to a sample of (138) faculty member, and the study concluded that: The most important results are the existence of a statistically significant relationship between the awareness of faculty members in Libyan universities of the importance of cybersecurity in light of the digital transformation in the study. The study presented a set of recommendations, the most prominent of which was the request to hold training courses for faculty members related to cybersecurity and the inclusion of the field of cybersecurity within the education curricula in schools and universities, in addition to encouraging cybersecurity research and studies in master’s and doctoral studies and conducting studies on the risks of cybercrime.
