Enhancing Libyan grid by using hybrid system for remote area

الملخص
تعتبر طاقة الرياح واحدة من أكثر مصادر الطاقة البديلة والصديقة للبيئة. في هذه الدراسة ، تم تقديم نظام هجين مدمج كحل بديل لتوليد الطاقة في المناطق النائية ، حيث أنه مشترك بين مولد طاقة من الرياح ومولد الديزل (هجين). قرية مرسيط (Marseet) هي واحدة من المناطق الريفية في ليبيا ، وقد تم اختيارها لاختبار فاعلية النظام المُستحدث من أجل إيجاد بديل لنظام الديزل الموجود. و من أجل التحقق من سلوك النظام المُستحدث، تم العمل على دراسة حالتين خاصتين ومحاكاتهما في بيئة Matlab (Simulink) حيث أظهرت نتائج المحاكاة قدرة النظام المُستحدث على إنتاج طاقة مستقرة فعالة للمناطق النائية.
Abstract
Wind energy is considered as one of the most alternative energy source, and the environmental friendly. In this study, a hybrid system combine is presented as an alternative solution to the power system generation in remote area, where it is a consort of wind energy generator and diesel generator. (Marseet), is one of the rural areas in Libya, and it has been chosen to test the behaviors of the hybrid system in order to find a possible solution that can replace the available diesel system. In order to investigate the behavior of hybrid system, two cases study are presented and simulated in the Matlab (Simulink) environment. The simulation results show the ability of the hybrid system combine to produce an efficient stable energy to the remote areas.
